WHAT IS DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP?
The powerful technologies most kids carry around in their pockets connect them with the world in ways that can be both positive and negative. Digital Citizenship, which is "the safe and responsible use of digital technologies," tips the balance in favor of positive online interactions.
Our mission is to help you prepare the young people in your life to become safe and wise users of technology.
To that end we offer a comprehensive curriculum for middle school, a free course for parents and one for educators too. We give presentations and offer a book packed with free digital citizenship activities.
Cyber Civics: Level 1 Focuses Entirely on Digital Citizenship
We believe Digital Citizenship is the first step towards becoming digitally literate. That's why we devoted the entire first year of our Cyber Civics curriculum to the topic.
