Diana Graber is a digital literacy expert, author, presenter, and educator known for her no-nonsense approach to helping kids and families navigate technology wisely. She founded CyberWise and created Cyber Civics, the award-winning digital literacy and AI literacy curriculum now taught in schools across all 50 U.S. states and internationally, serving grades 4–8. She often presents and is interviewed about digital literacy and technology topics. Her work is grounded in what students actually face today — from social media pressures to generative AI.

Graber holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA and an M.A. in Media Psychology and Social Change from Fielding Graduate University. In addition to teaching Cyber Civics to middle school students, Graber has served as Adjunct Faculty teaching Media Psychology at the graduate level Her paper, "New Media Literacies: A Developmental Approach," was published in the Journal of Media Literacy Education. Her work has earned recognition including the 2017 Media Literacy Teacher Award from the National Association of Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) and an "Innovation in Education" finalist designation from Project Tomorrow and the O.C. Tech Alliance.

 

She lives in Southern California with her family and can often be found on her mountain bike.
